I was born and raised in Orlando, and some of my earliest memories are tied to being outside and around the water. Fishing became part of my life early, and over time I found myself spending more and more days on Central Florida’s lakes trying to understand what made the fish move, feed and react the way they did.
What started as something I simply loved to do became a real obsession. I wanted to learn every season, every pattern and every little change that could make the difference between an average day and a great one. Orlando was home, these lakes were where I learned to fish, and they ended up shaping the direction my life would take.
Beyond Bass Fishing
A Passion for Florida’s Outdoors
Fishing has always been about more than catching fish for me. It’s about the challenge, the time spent outside and the memories created along the way.
As I became more serious about bass fishing, I started competing at a higher level, including two seasons on the Bassmaster Open Tour. Those experiences helped me understand the small details that make a difference on the water and deepened my passion for learning these fisheries.
That passion eventually grew into a career sharing Florida’s outdoors with others — from bass fishing trips to alligator hunting adventures.
Sharing the Next Generation of Adventure
Passing On a Love for the Outdoors
Fishing has given me so much throughout my life, and one of the most rewarding parts has been helping others discover the same connection to the outdoors.
Through school programs, fishing seminars and my annual kids fishing camp, I’ve had the opportunity to introduce young anglers to the sport and teach them more than just how to catch a fish. It’s about spending time outside, building confidence, respecting the outdoors and creating memories that last.
Seeing someone catch their first bass or watching a young angler develop a love for fishing is what makes it all worthwhile. For me, sharing these experiences is just as important as the fishing itself.
